Here are some of my Spring/Easter decorations this year. I just love this baby chick in a vintage birdcage. The chick is made out of construction paper. I found the birdcage at a local thrift store, I think it is made of bamboo.
Here are some book page eggs I made for Easter this year. I just took plastic Easter eggs and Mod Podged them with old book pages. I gave them a distressed look by wiping a little brown shoe polish over them. I wrapped ribbon around and then tied with a piece of twine.
This garden/tool crate I made last year. It is made out of scrap wood, and the handle is a birch branch. I painted it an ivory color then distressed it and stenciled in the word GROW. The other side I left plain so I can just flip it around and use it for other seasons and holidays.
If you ever see another birdcage like that, would you pick it up for me? They are at least $75 around here... ridiculous lol. I love it!
